The organizing committee of Kontiolahti has officially announced a change in the program'' s eighth stage of the World Cup scheduled in mid-March.

Following the cancellation of'' pursuit of Östersund, the'' Ibu has decided to maintain the number of individual competitions counting towards the World Cup, as a result of on-site mixed relay scheduled for Thursday, March 13 will be held two sprint.
The program of the first stage of Kontiolahti that included a medley relay, a sprint and a chase will be composed of two sprint and pursuit.
The first sprint (Thursday 13th) will be a story in itself, while the second (Saturday 15th) will be the basis for the pursuit of'' Sunday 16.
