Friday off to the summer tricolors of biathlon in Anterselva: all the big blues are expected starting from Wierer

The program of the national review will start with the Short Individual, then the Sprint on Saturday. Young people and Aspirants are also competing.

Anterselva will be the prestigious setting that will host the Italian summer biathlon championships, scheduled for Friday 10 and Saturday 11 September. The competitive season will thus officially kick off in our country, after some of the main protagonists of the blue movement, including Dorothea Wierer herself, have already made their debut in high-level events such as the City Biathlon of Wiesbaden and the championships Austrian nationals. The South Tyrolean champion has already started very well the approach to the Olympic year and will be the most awaited woman in the two days at home at the Suedtirol Arena. The competitions will be attended by athletes of the Senior, Junior, Young and Aspiring categories, both male and female. The program foresees the opening tomorrow with the men's Short Individual senior, from 9.00 as the junior Individual, while at 9.45 the girls of both categories will be competing. Appointment at 10.40 for the Individual of the Youth category and from 11.15 for Aspirants, with the same female tests respectively from 13.10 and 13.55. On Saturday, instead, from 9.00 the senior and junior Sprint start for boys first and then for girls, from 10.25 the Young and from 10.55 the Aspirants, with the girls to close the two-day program with the Sprint on the 6 km first for the Young people (12.30) and then for Aspirants (12.50).
