European Cup: the Carinthian commands another Austrian hat-trick and the Aosta Valley is eighth behind Alice Robinson, in a very high level race. And Karoline Pichler returns in front.

A super-g super tough, raced in exceptional snow conditions (just look at the many insertions with high bibs), for the first of the three races scheduled in Val Sarentino.
The women's European Cup arrives in South Tyrol and sees the triumph of the Austrian Nadine Fest once again for the sixth time in the season and the ninth career on the continental circuit. The 21-year-old Carinthian, very close to triumph in the general and in the super-g specialty cup (today was the fifth of the seven scheduled events), drove an Austrian hat-trick preceding another highly talented ''98 class by 10 cents'' and already seen in CdM, Julia Scheib (breastplate 33), and 15 Rosina Schneeberger.
The "usual" Swiss Jasmina Suter, winner last Sunday in Crans-Montana, and Rahel Kopp, finished fourth and sixth respectively, with the Norwegian Tviberg among them at 55 cents from Fest. And in a very high level race with many protagonists of the World Cup, here is a certain Alice Robinson in seventh place, 67 cents from the top with bib 31 and just in front of the first blue in the standings. Giulia Albano is confirmed after the splendid 4th place in Crans-Montana and is eighth with 79 cents of gap, still in the race for a fixed place in the discipline for the next season in the maximum circuit.
Italy also finds a positive Karoline Pichler, ninth at 95 cents, while Valentina Cillara Rossi has to settle for 14th place, spaced 1 â€65. The other blue points: 19 ^ Sofia Pizzato, 21 ^ Teresa Runggaldier, 23 ^ Elena Dolmen, 25 ^ Monica Runggaldier, 26 ^ Jole Galli. And tomorrow it will replicate with another super-g, before the Alpine combined on Friday.
