On October 26, the 2019/20 Women's World Cup will start in Solden and there is a Lara Gut-Behrami with a great desire to come back to the front, even among the wide doors of the mother discipline.
On the occasion of the advertising week organized by Swiss-Ski for the launch of the season, the 28-year-old from Ticino spoke to the media that, as often happens, they "questioned" Lara about her husband Valon Behrami, since the former Udinese player he has just terminated the contract that bound him to Zion these days.
A situation that will bring the 2015/16 crystal ball winner to come closer ... to Italy: "Yes, when the season allows it, we will often live in Udine - confessed Gut-Behrami - since I've been with Valon, the my life has changed dramatically and there are other things besides skiing. I believe we will be able to grow further, finding in our moments at home the enthusiasm to nurture a life together ".
The Swiss multipurpose has changed a lot in terms of preparation and the staff that supports it, also benefiting from the help of a technician of proven experience as Patrice Morisod, for many years in the Swiss national team and with whom Lara had already collaborated in the past. "Patrice tries to be there when he can, I really appreciate his presence as a ... super coach."
We'll soon find out if Gut-Behrami has managed to put all the pieces of the puzzle back together to win again.
