Lara Gut: "I train with my boots, but to get the skis back for two more months"

On Instagram and on his Facebook page, Lara Gut updates us on how he is going to recover from knee injury while he was training in the narrow doors just before the slalom match of the St. Moritz World Combined World Championship on February 10th.

"Hello everyone, it's a short update now," Lara writes on Facebook in Italian and Instagram in English. More than four months have passed since my operation, everything is going well and I'm already training with my ski boots. I met my doctor last week and is very happy with my progress, however my return to snow before 6 months of surgery is not an option for us. That means I still have a few months of athletic training (and Summer) in front of me. A hug, Lara. " In short, Lara is very happy with the way things are going, and her satisfaction could be felt in the cheerful and ironic tweets she has published in the last few days. But the 26-year-old Ticino winner of the World Cup 2015-2016 points out that it will take at least two months for him to return to training on skis.
