A three-day job that can only be useful in view of the great return of a place that, in those races of the 2015/16 season, left a splendid memory to athletes, technicians and professionals (and those who don't remember the blue triumph downhill, with Vonn second between Nadia Fanchini and "Dada" Merighetti?).
As is known, La Thuile will return to the World Cup calendar starting next season, with the Valle d'Aosta locality hosting a downhill race on Saturday 29 February 2020 and a super-g on Sunday 1 March; the blue of the speed have therefore taken advantage of it, exploiting conditions still splendid for the spring training, to carry out a session ended today, with 8 athletes of the group led by the head coach Matteo Guadagnini in action on the "3 - Franco Berthod".
Sofia Goggia, the hostess Federica Brignone, Marta Bassino, Elena Curtoni, Francesca Marsaglia, Laura Pirovano and the sisters Nicol and Nadia Delago, have played several "laps" of super-g, supervised by the technicians Gianluca Rulfi, Paolo Deflorian, Paolo Stefanini and the other members of the blue staff, waiting for the managerial cadres who will follow the "pink avalanche" in the 2019/2020 vintage to be made official in the coming weeks.
