Federica Brignone will be at the start of the women's giant Maribor of tomorrow, sixth round of the Women's World Cup of specialties.

The 28 year old from Valle d'Aosta, who in the fall of last Sunday during the descent of Garmisch-Partenkirchen has obtained a slight sprain in her left knee with edema, took part in the skiing on the track with her companions and decided to show up at the start. The track moves a lot in the upper part, the final part is quite icy, the slope is not excessive but it is a fun race, always organized very well, the fact that it will not be very difficult from the point of view for once I could favor, seen that I will run in these conditions ".
After an almost ten-month-long giant absence, Sofia Goggia returns to the wide doors on the track that in 2017 gave her a second place: "I have no expectations - says the 26-year-old downhill champion. I trained very little in this discipline, I did a single day in Tarvisio this week, it's just an approach to discipline. Two years ago I was second, I really like the slope, it will be a fairly easy giant but the difficulty of the race will depend a lot on the snow ".
"In Maribor I arrived ninth in 2016 and on two other occasions I went out in the second heat - says Marta Bassino - but I know the slope well and I will only think of going as hard as possible because I feel confident".
