Waiting for Swiss-Ski to formalize the choices relating to the men's team, in the race on Friday without three of its most anticipated men, namely Odermatt, Meillard and Murisier affected by Covid, nine girls from the Swiss women's team will be on the track in Lech on Thursday / Zuers, for the first and only parallel of the World Cup season.
The absence of Michelle Gisin among the squads stands out: a clear choice is that of the one who, always in the top 5 in the first three races of the season and second in the general classification behind Petra Vlhova, will aim directly at the two super-gs of Sankt Moritz.
The chances of the podium in the Swiss house, having said that the parallel is always ready to give a thousand surprises, are based in particular on Wendy Holdener: it is true that the 27-year-old native of the Canton of Schwyz took home her 5 podiums in the discipline (also winning the before his three races in CdM, in 2016 in Stockholm) always between city event and PSL, while the Austrian race will be based on a fairly different context, but will still be one of the references for the race scheduled in a couple of days and at which will also participate Lara Gut-Behrami, after the good debut in Soelden.
