Beat Feuz conquered his second specialty crystal ball, at the end of a 2018/19 season that saw him suffer, especially from the end of December onwards with the races in Bormio, the overwhelming power of a wild Dominik Paris.
On the other hand, the champion and winner of the Super-G Cup won the beauty of seven speed races, against the only seal of the Swiss champion, dated 30 November 2018 on the Beaver Creek descent (and with the disappointment of a World Cup gone bad for the Swiss).
Of course, the 32-year-old from Schangnau eventually saved the most coveted trophy for a downhill skier, retaining the title for just 20 points, thanks also to the failed recovery that was to be staged in Kvitfjell, but the domination shown for long stretches in the previous year seemed almost vanished.
Feuz therefore began working hard on the “home†glaciers in July, that is between Zermatt and Saas Fee, to arrive prepared for the first fast races, at the end of November in Lake Louise, skipping the planned transfer on snow Chilean of La Parva.
