This time the theater will be the "Vertigo" of Cortina where, at the 2019 Italian championships, the crusader broke: at 36, with the two fourth places in Kitz and the two fifths in Bavaria, Christof Innerhofer proved to be still an athlete of the highest level.
“I liked today's race - the South Tyrolean champion told Physi.org - I felt good, I attacked and I did the best I could. For me it is not important if I do the podium or, what matters is to have fun, be among the first and feel good. I had a technical problem in December which I got out of and now everything is fine. Today it was certainly not easy to stay in front because the track was marked: but that's okay, I don't have any problems for different conditions or different types of snow.
I try to give my all and that's it. When there is a race and you are there at the start it is important that you believe in yourself and give your best, this is what counts, everything else is useless: this also applies to the World Cup races. I'm not even thinking about it, we'll see when the time comes ".
