The federal skiforbundet.no website announced that the Scandinavian slalom player signed the athlete contract for the 2017-2018 season. In a word, he has been reinstated in the team, but he will have to work on his own as early as October 1st with a customized preparation program agreed with the federation, all at his own expense. In August and September you can be present at team meetings.
"We are happy to have reached an agreement with Henrik," said Norwegian technical director Claus Ryste. "I am very happy to do even part of the national team that supports me in the best way, now I can focus all my energy on the goal of dethroning Marcel Hirscher next season," said Kristoffersen with his usual bravado.
However, the Red Bull case remains unresolved: how long will it take before Kristoffersen again claims his will to have as the main sponsor the Austrian brand of the famous drink?
