Lesion of the external meniscus of the right knee by Marco Odermatt

The 2018-2019 World Cup season is over, there is no end to injuries, this time it was Marco Odermatt's turn.

The 21-year-old Swiss supertalent from the canton of Nidwalden injured his right knee after landing a jump in the super-G of the Soldeu finals last Thursday. The MRI he underwent at the Balgrist University Clinic in Zurich showed an injury to the external meniscus. Under these conditions Odermatt came second in the giant two days later in the Principality of Andorra. Regardless of whether the operation is necessary or not, Odermatt's healing process will begin with conservative rehabilitation under the guidance of Swiss medical doctor Walter O. Frey. All this has been made known by Swiss Ski in a statement on its official website.
