The seven-time World Cup winner announced it today at a press conference at the Schloss Fuschl hotel in Hof bei Salzburg. The marriage with his historic girlfriend Laura and the arrival of their first child in September had seemed factors for which the champion of Salzburg could have stopped, but today's announcement has denied all these hypotheses.
About 80 journalists attended the conference held by Hirscher and listened to his announcement: "I will also continue next season, but I thought a lot about a possible end of my career and I realized that at the moment I am motivated to continue skiing and I am not still ready to retire ".
