Cl ment Noel also stops: back pain for the French ace, immediate return from Ushuaia

A tile not just for the French slalom, although there is plenty of time to recover in view of Levi's debut (November 24th).

Clément Noel must stop due to back pain, returning home immediately from the trip to Ushuaia. This is the news that comes directly from the transalpine federation, which speaks of "the impossibility of completing the internship in optimal conditions". It was a rally that began just over two weeks ago, very important for the very talented slalomist from Remiremont, who had skied little in the summer, preferring a lot of work dedicated to athletic training, and then concentrating on a month of training on Argentine snow. On 18 September, Noel participated in a South American Cup giant in Cerro Castor, which ended in 38th place; this year, in fact, the native of the Vosges had chosen to extend the radius also to the “mother” discipline to lower the FIS points for a future among the wide doors also in the World Cup, but the stop certainly complicates the plans a bit from this point of view. According to what transpires, however, it is a precautionary measure to heal the best in view of the debut in the maximum circuit, which for the three-time winner of last season's races (Wengen, Kitzbuehel and Soldeu) will take place in Levi, Sunday 24 November.
