Thomas Dressen towards the return: "Excellent training in Chile, albeit some high and low"

Almost 10 months after the terrible fall of Beaver Creek, Germany is about to find its prince sprinter.

Thomas Dressen was already a certainty of the German national speed at the end of the magical 2017/18 season that saw him triumph over Kitzbuehel's Streif. Then, on November 30, 2018, the crash on the Birds of Prey descent and a year threw away, to recover from the crack the rupture of the posterior crusader of the right knee (as well as a subluxation to the left shoulder); now the 25-year-old from Garmisch-Partenkirchen finally sees the light, at the end of the first real summer training done with his teammates. In fact Dressen flew to Chile to train in the Andean resort of Corralco and yesterday, at the end of weeks in which he managed to work between super-g and downhill without any particular problems, the Teutonic sprinter said he was very satisfied. "It was a good training camp, I made progress along the way to my return - the words of Dressen - With some high and low, but everything goes well". From Lake Louise competitions at the end of November onwards, we will have to keep an eye on it ...
