All confirmed: the giant canceled in Val d''Is re will be recovered on 1 March in Hinterstoder

The Austrian leg, which returns to the World Cup after 4 years, will again have a triptych with a combined to open, the super-g and the "missed" test last weekend.

Alexis Pinturault, who in those parts dominated the two giants (pictured) expected in the final of the 2015/16 season (one of recovery), will be happy, while the super-g was brought home by Aleksander Aamodt Kilde. As expected and already leaked in the hours following the decision not to dispute the giant in Val d''Isère, focusing on the slalom moved from Saturday to Sunday, the race sacrificed in Haute-Savoie will be recovered by Austria and the town of Hinterstoder, who had already set his return to the World Cup four years after that "triptych". In Upper Austria, "home" of Vincent Kriechmayr, we will therefore see an alpine combined on Friday 28 February (earlier than Sunday 1 March), the super-g that remains on Saturday 29 February, and precisely the recovery giant as grand finale, Sunday 1 March. The problem risks being the temperatures, a bit like the last time, but other spaces on the calendar (the other hypothesis was linked to Chamonix, in the second weekend of February) objectively there was none were. And Austria pushed all the way, a little 'as happened last year for the two giant and slalom races recovered in Saalbach-Hinterglemm on 19-20 December.
