From the blog of its official website the Swiss downhill racer Dominique Gisin told his emotions felt during the trip from Ushuaia to La Parva via Santiago and confesses his excellent impression on the slopes Chileans. Here is the text of the post of'' Swiss in the version in Italian: "From Ushuaia is the adventure continued at the time of Chile During the move, we had a fortune .... cheeky, traveling during a winter's day postcard. Course it would have been better if the sun had peeped during workouts, but since that the nature can not control, we took the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views that offers the Patagonia. We also saw the Aconcagua, the highest mountain of the Cordillera and the whole American continent ... an impressive sight. Arriving in Santiago, after having packed all the material in a truck, I let myself be carried away by Morpheus in a king size bed at the Hilton. The next day, with an adventurous taxi ride, we go up to 2,500 m of La Parva. The first feeling had been that of a landing. We are at almost 3,000 meters above sea level and the landscape is almost deserted. Compared to Ushuaia, the mountains are the hills and snow is scarce. Notwithstanding this training conditions are just perfect, with compact snow lasts. The downhill slope allows us to carry over from the heats to 80 seconds and the sun accompanies us for training sessions spring ideals. I am very happy to be able to try the downhill and super giant did not know yet. In such situations, when you do not know the terrain, you have to try your limits and for me it is a daily challenge that motivates me a lot. We stay at La Parva still one week to go home. The overseas training has paid off, but I'm glad to find his way home soon. My author of the week: Frederick Forsyth (very exciting). "
