Blue Giants departing for Ushuaia. In maybe the downhill trip to Chile

Begin the departures for the southern hemisphere by the blue teams of the Alpine Ski World Cup, especially the male ones.

Tomorrow the group of gigantisti formed by Giovanni Borsotti, Giulio Bosca, Luca De Aliprandini, Alex Hofer and Riccardo Tonetti will leave for the Argentinian resort of Ushuaia where it will remain until Tuesday 18 September. There are about twenty days of work under the eyes of the new head of industry Alessandro Serra, coaches Ruggero Muzzarelli and Devid Salvadori and athletic trainer Andrea Viano. Roberto Nani will join his team-mates on Wednesday 29th, one week late. The slalom team formed by Stefano Gross, Manfred Moelgg and Giuliano Razzoli will start on Saturday 25th. There are news, however, regarding the meeting of the downhillers, who will leave for Ushuaia the day after tomorrow. The trip was originally divided into two parts, with the transfer to the Chilean locality of La Parva on Friday 7 September, but the conditions of low snowfall do not allow the time to carry out a profitable training, which is why the technical staff will wait until the end of August to decide whether to eventually extend the meeting in Argentina until Wednesday, September 19, date originally scheduled for return to Italy. Moving on to the European Cup, the Stelvio glacier hosts from yesterday until Friday the team of downhill skiers formed by Mattia Casse, Davide Cazzaniga, Matteo Marsaglia, Nicolò Molteni, Federico Paini, Alexander Prast, Florian Schieder and Federico Simoni. The coordinator of the teams of the continental review Roberto Lorenzi will lead the meeting, also present the technicians Lorenzo Galli, Michael Gufler and Patrick Staudacher. In the same days there will also be the slalomgigantisti Federico Liberatore, Simon Maurberger, Tommaso Sala, Hans Vaccari, Alex Vinatzer and Hannes Zingerle with coaches Cesare Prati and Roberto Saracco. Lastly, the Swiss glacier in Saas-Fee hosts a gathering of the European Cup downhill racers from yesterday until Saturday. The group is made up of Valentina Cillara Rossi, Nadia Delago, Sara Dellantonio, Elena Dolmen, Jole Galli, Marta Giunti, Roberta Melesi, Sofia Pizzato, Teresa Runggaldier and Federica Sosio accompanied by sector manager Giuseppe Butelli and coach Daniel Dorigo. In the same locality there are also the slalomgigantiste Luisa Bertani, Lara Della Mea, Anita Gulli, Celina Haller, Martina Perruchon, Marta Rossetti, Elena Sandulli and Carlotta Saracco with the coordinator of the female cadet circuit blue Alexander Prosch, the sector manager Heini Pfitscher and technicians Alberto Arioli and Paolo Croce.
