This year will be the fifth time that the finals of the World Cup alpine skiing will take place in Lenzerheide, although the earlier with regard to the weather are not at all encouraging.

The final act of the season was held in 2005, 2007, 2011 and 2013, in the Swiss Canton of Grisons this location a stone's throw from Parpan, another well-known ski resort.
