We're about at the halfway point with regard to the season of World Cup Alpine Skiing: Women have played a little more than half of the races on the program, the men a little less than half.

In the men's struggle for absolute crystal ball is already reduced to only two names: Marcel Hirscher and Aksel Lund Svindal.
