On Thursday evening, during the traditional ceremony held at Salzburg airport, Marcel Hirscher received the umpteenth title of the "Leonidas Lions", even if the competition was not lacking considering that Annaberg's ace preceded the combined player Bernhard Gruber, author of a good season with success in the grand finale of the Schonach Cup, and a guarantee like Stefan Kraft, again on the podium of the jumping World Cup.
At the female level, the only exception among the athletes of winter sports since the title was awarded to the player Sarah Zadrazil (pictured with Hirscher), with Teresa Stadlober, the tip of the Austrian movement in the background, and the Paralympic cross-country skier Carina Edlinger on the podium . For the Hirscher family, only the title of "coach of the year" was missing, for which this year was also among the candidates father Ferdinand: the award went instead to Marco Rose, the football team's protagonist also at level, the Red Bull Salzburg.
