Mikaela Shiffrin, Marcel Hirscher and Manuel Feller were only three of the stars present yesterday at the Atomic Day in Altenmarkt im Pongau. In a piece of Skiweltcup.tv Shiffrin and Hirscher, winners of the last two women's World Cups and the last seven men respectively, talked about their materials for the new season while Feller widened their horizons a bit.

Mikaela Shiffrin: "Nothing unexpected happened but there are always changes in the materials. I am very curious to hear how they behave in a race track. I hope I have chosen the right race skis ".
Marcel Hirscher: "If the material does not work there is no chance of winning. As every year is the same thing and can feel me anyway, or very well, or so or bad. But I'm always confident ".
Manuel Feller: "If Marcel is at the start of course he is the big favorite. But we did not sleep during the summer and the goal is to beat it. Of course I have to take a step forward. I will do everything to stay with the best. The tests are difficult to judge, it counts only when you have the starting number. I always start to win. I can not do it but the goal is to always be at the top. I feel very good in the giant and I'm sure to take a step forward in slalom. I can not wait to start the season ".
