Slalom FIS junior in Bormio, closes with the success of Martina Piaggio and the British Vaughton

Success for the two days of races in Valtellina dedicated to Walter Fontana, with the organization of "Cancer First Aid".

The trials of the FIS junior circuit were staged in Bormio, they signaled many young Azzurri protagonists in the 26th edition of the "Memorial Walter Fontana", with Cancer Primo Aiuto in the front row for the preparation of a classic event. The slalom concluded the weekend of races, with the success among the girls went to Martina Piaggio of the Mondolè Ski Team, which preceded the S. Valdostana of the S.C. Valtournanche, Carole Agnelli, and almost a second Benedetta Giordani of the Radici Group, already second in giant. In the top five also Gaia Blangero (Equipe Piemonte), 3 cents from the podium, and Gaia Palamara (Sci Club Drusciè). In the men's field, absolute success for the British Max Vaughton; behind him for 22 cents, the Piedmontese Corrado Barbera (Limone Ski College), with the carabiniere Goffredo Mammarella third at 53 cents from the winner. Fourth place for Davide Iozzelli (Riolunato Ski Club) and fifth for Tommaso Nardi del Drusciè. The borminis and landlords Simone Da Prada and Tommaso Canclini concluded respectively in seventh and eighth place.
