The FISI has announced the calendar of the South American trip of the World Cup teams of alpine skiing that will mark a very important stage of preparation on the snows of the southern hemisphere.

The first to leave will be Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia Monday 30, destination Valle Nevado, in Chile, where they will remain until mid-August, then they will move to Ushuaia, Argentina, where they will find the other members of the blue team of technical races and those fast, leaving for the end of the day on Thursday 6 September. All of them, including Federica and Sofia, will return to Italy on Tuesday 2 October.
As for the men's team, the gigantists will be in Ushuaia from Wednesday 22 August to Tuesday 18 September, while the slalom colleagues will leave on Saturday 25 August and will return on Monday 17 September. Speed ​​specialists will be engaged first in Ushuaia from Thursday 23 August to Thursday 6 September, then they will move to La Parva, Chile, until 20 September.
This year, for the first time, the men's European Cup will face the South American trip: the slalomgigantisti will be in Ushuaia from Wednesday 29 August to Wednesday 19 September, the runners in La Parva from Thursday 6 to Friday 28 September.
