Azzurri, ok start on the Olympic track: Moioli, Visintin and Sommariva are immediately very fast

Snowboard Cross World Cup: the qualifications towards Sunday's races at Secret Garden see the Olympic champion advance (together with Gallina and Belingheri), as well as the two peaks of the men's sector, with the 3rd and 4th time trial. Ferrari, Leoni and Menconi also smile.

A start on the right foot, on that track that will award the Olympic title in February. The 2021/22 World Cup starts well for the snowboard cross blues, given that eight of the ten athletes competing at Secret Garden, for the Chinese opening of the season, have obtained the pass for the races scheduled for Sunday, when in Italy will be 6.00 in the morning. Qualifications that saw Michela Moioli play there in front, with the fourth time trial and an access to the quarter-finals without worries for the Bergamo champion, just behind the usual, great rivals such as Eva Samkova (first), Chloe Trespeuch (second) and Charlotte Bankes (third). Very well Francesca Gallina, sixth, while she tore the ticket for the final stages in extremis Sofia Belingheri, 16th and therefore called to an immediately very hard fight in the fourth with Samkova and Brockhoff, in the upper part of the board where there will also be Moioli herself (with the North Americans Gaskill and McManiman, in addition to the Swiss Hediger, the Olympic champion is clearly favored). Not only Caterina Carpano did it, 24th in qualifying, as did Michele Godino (42nd) in the men's test. Five blues ahead in the scoreboard, with very positive indications for the headlights of Cesare Pisoni's team: Omar Visintin and Lorenzo Sommariva, in fact, placed the third and fourth time trials respectively, preceded only by the Canadian Grondin and the German Noerl. Inside with a good margin also Filippo Ferrari, 17th, Tommaso Leoni, 25th, and Matteo Menconi with the 28th time.
