We got used well, very well with the blue snowboard cross squadron, and so it's kind that after the two podiums in the opening of Secret Garden, on the track of the next Olympics, thanks to Michela Moioli and Omar Visintin, Italy remain dry in the second individual round of the World Cup.
In Montafon Alessandro Haemmerle is repeated, the authentic ruler of the men's circuit who signs an encore after his debut two weeks ago in China, triumphing at home in front of the eternal Nick Baumgartner and the Germans Kirchwehm and Noerl. For the Azzurri, the best is surprisingly Tommaso Leoni, sixth and exited in the very tough semifinal with Haemmerle, just as Lorenzo Sommariva did not manage to overcome the obstacle to reach the final (against the two Germans mentioned above), who eventually he will finish seventh. Omar Visintin's day was very bitter, best time yesterday in qualifying and out in an unfortunate quarter-final with relative crash, also fatal to Matteo Menconi.
It is the world champion Charlotte Bankes to fly to the top of the general classification of the World Cup, after dominating the final in front of Belle Brockhoff and Chloe Trespeuch, with the Canadian Odine fourth and the winner of the first stage, the holder of the ball crystal Eva Samkova, "only" fifth in front of the best blue, Sofia Belingheri (sixth), who finished behind the Czech champion in the small final.
Michela Moioli instead greeted the race, settling for tenth place, in a fratricidal quarter-final with Belingheri, Gallina (13th at the end) and Trespeuch.
Saturday the closing of the two days in Austria with the team trial, already preparatory from an Olympic point of view.
