The Alpine Snowboard World Cup with the contest of a parallel male and a female giant is recorded on the Olympic snows of PyeongChang.

Among the women immediately dominates the Czech star Ester Ledecka who returns after participating in the Alpine Ski World Cup and trim at least 7 tenths to each of his opponents of the final table, in the final beats the German Selina Joerg, the third place goes to the Austrian Sabine Schoeffmann against the other German Carolin Langenhorst. For Ledecka it is the 17th career victory in the World Cup, for Joerg is the 10th podium, for Schoeffmann the 12th. Fifth the blue Nadya Ochner who has surrendered by disqualification in the quarters at Joerg, twenty-fifth the other blue Giulia Gaspari, eliminated in the qualifications. It is Schoeffmann who commands the overall parallel World Cup standings, while the specialty one is dominated by Ledecka.
Among the men there is a bit 'of bitterness in the mouth for the fourth place of Aaron March, first beaten in the semifinals by the Austrian Lukas Mathies and then in the final for the third place by the veteran Wunderteam Andreas Prommegger, but the victory goes to Slovenian Zan Kosir who in the final beats Mathies, for the winner is the fifth success in the World Cup, for Mathies and Prommegger respectively the seventh and forty-first podium. The other Italians: Edwin Coratti and Roland Fischnaller, beaten by March, stop in the quarterfinals, finishing seventh and eighth, out of the qualifications all the others: seventeenth Mirko Felicetti, twenty-first Daniele Bagozza, forty-first Maurizio Bormolini, retired Gabriel Messner. The other Austrian veteran Benjamin Karl commands the general classification while Fischnaller remains in the lead of the specialty. Tomorrow the races-2.
