After yesterday's giant, all in all balanced, with two Italians in the first 3 (Ballerin and Maurberger), today's one in Andalo was a Norwegian monologue: 5 Norwegians in the first 5 positions.

This shows the strength of the Scandinavian team, which is already very strong in the World Cup and that certainly will have an equally rosy future. First, in fact, Lucas Braathen, second ex-aequo Fabian Wilkens Solheim and Atle Lie McGrath to just one cent, fourth Bjoernar Neteland to 2 cents and fifth to Timon Haugan.
The first of the "others", who came sixth to the finish line, is Andrea Ballerin, who proved to be on the home track after yesterday's podium. Over thirty then there are Tobias Kastlunger thirty-fifth, Samuel Moling thirty-ninth and Pietro Franceschetti, last at the finish, in forty-second place. Released in the second heat Simon Maurberger, second ex-aequo with Braathen and Solheim in the first, in which they ended up Giulio Bosca, Alex Hofer, Michelangelo Tentori, Alessandro Brean, Giulio Zuccarini and Damian Hell. The European Cup makes a stop in Zauchensee (these days the women have made the first downhill training sessions, which saw a great Nadia Delago) with two descents and a Super-G for women, while the men will be engaged in two Super-Gs. 20 and 21 December.
