The 2000-year-old talent Lucas Braathen, Norwegian for the Brazilian half, won the first of the two men's European Cup giants in Courchevel with a time of 2.01.73.

The Scandinavian team was behind the Austrians Stefan Brennsteiner (+0.26) and Patrick Feuerstein (+0.93). fourth the Swiss Daniele Sette, followed by the Norwegian Bjoemar Neteland and the first two Azzurri: Simon Maurberger (+1.21) and Giulio Bosca (+1.23) are sixth and seventh. Eighth and ninth other two Norwegians, Timon Haugan and Marcus Monsen, while the Swiss Elia Zurbriggen closes the Top10.
Seventeenth Andrea Ballerin, twenty-second Hannes Zingerle and twenty-eight Alex Vinatzer. Further back we find Samuel Moiling thirty-sixth, last Italian at the finish line. Out in the second heat Roberto Nani, while they did not complete the first Giovanni Borsotti, Alex Hofer and Giulio Zuccarini.
With this result Maurberger remains first in the overall standings, but with only one point right on Braathen, while in giant Simon is third, behind Braathen (420) and Solheim, another Norwegian (300).
