Simon Maurberger triumphs in the first of the two European Cup slaloms in Val Cenis

The South Tyrolean Simon Maurberger, with a time of 1'32 "94, won the first of the two slalom of Val Cenis ahead of the Norwegians Timon Haugan (+0" 70) and Bjoern Brudevoll (+0 "97) and thanks to that which is his second seasonal success also passes the overall standings of the European Cup.

Fourth the French Robin Buffet, first after the first run, followed by the Norwegian Marcus Monsen and the Austrian Mathias Graf. Seventh and eighth other two Norwegians, Atle Lie McGrath and Lucas Braathen. Austrian top Pirmin Hacker and Swiss Noel Von Gruenigen close the top ten. Only two other Italians complete the race: fifteenth Giordano Ronci (+2 "86) and twenty-fifth Matteo Canins (+5" 89). Released in the second heat Hans Vaccari, Hannes Zingerle and Lorenzo Boschini, while the first Francesco Gori, Andrea Ballerin, Stefano Baruffaldi and Damian Hell have not finished.
