Federica Brignone fell while engaged in a super-G training on the Swiss glacier in Zermatt, Switzerland.

Immediately rescued, the 28-year-old from Valle d'Aosta was subjected to an MRI at the Aosta hospital which showed a small stretch to the lateral collateral ligament of the left knee and a strong bone contusion on her left leg.
A guardian has been applied to the Faith, which he will have to keep for 15 days, during which he will observe a period of absolute rest. His conditions will be re-evaluated within two weeks in view of the possible departure for South America which is scheduled for August 31st.
