The news has reported a few days ago to the Norwegian public tv site NRK: Henrik Kristoffersen was excluded from the Norwegian team.

The reason is the obstinate will of the Scandinavian slalom player, who will be 23 years old on July 2, to sign a contract with Red Bull refusing to exhibit on the helmet the Norwegian federal sponsor Telenor. Kristoffersen would like to be likened to Aksel Lund Svindal, but the problem is that Red Bull has become the personal sponsor of the Norwegian veteran before the federation signs the contract with Telenor and is therefore perfectly legitimized to exhibit the Red Bull brand, as opposed to Kristoffersen.
The slalom championship less than a year ago had signed the deal with his federation, but he had filed a lawsuit because he was preventing him from having Red Bull as a sponsor, but the Oslo court had rejected the athlete's request. This time the contract did not even sign it and the inevitable consequence was to exclude it from the training group. "We are trying to reach an agreement and until we can get Henrik to work on his own," Norwegian Technical Team Manager Claus Ryste told NRK.
