Sweden confirmed to be one of the strongest teams in this competition format and won the Ã…re Team Event.

In front of the friendly public the Scandinavians beat in order the Olympic champions of Switzerland, Germany and in the final the world champions of France, in all three cases for 3-1, the transalpine came to the decisive challenge beating with the same score first Norway and then Austria, winner in the quarterfinals on Slovenia for 3-1.
The Wunderteam, however, had to bow in the final for the third place with the Germans in a challenge ended 2-2 but with Germany that has conquered the lowest step of the podium for the sum of time. And it is precisely Germany that tore Italy 4-0 in the quarter-finals, which deployed Marta Bassino, Alex Vinatzer, Irene Curtoni and Riccardo Tonetti, the only team to lose without even winning a head to head. Tomorrow the men's giant and the women's slalom will be staged.
