It was opened tonight with the ignition of the tripod by Nadia Fanchini and Hanna Schnarf the 47th edition of the ALPECIMBRA FIS Children Cup, the former Topolino Trophy, the youngest event of the most prestigious alpine skiing in the world.

"Never give up", this is the motto that the two blue ones have launched to 350 young skiers from 38 nations on 4 continents during the opening ceremony of Folgaria. Tomorrow and Saturday there will be competitions reserved for Under 14 and Under 16 both male and female on the Martinella and Agonistica slopes at Fondo Grande.
"I have a fantastic memory of this event - says Nadia - I had the chance to win a gold medal and two other placements on the podium. An experience that I always carry in my heart and that saw me for the first time confront myself with other nations in the world. A few weeks ago we marched in the Olympics in Korea and today with the kids all over the world through the streets of Folgaria. Two different stages, but the emotion is always intense ".
"My participation in the then Topolino Trophy was not significant in terms of results - adds Hanna - but it was constructive and exciting for the atmosphere that we breathed. The first important comparison of my career. Among other things, in those years I also took part in cross-country races and I divided myself between skiing and cross ".
