In the Czech Republic the last act of the World Championship dominated by the hosts.

At Stitna Nad Vlari, the final slaloms of the junior world championships in grass skiing leave quite a few regrets for the Italian national team, standing at the foot of the podium with both boys and women.
Anger, however, is all for Filippo Zamboni, who was classified in 3rd place and was then ousted from the finishing line, due to a millimeter gained in the decisive round; all-Czech podium then, with Jan Borak burning the great favorite Martin Bartak (World Cup leader) for only 19 cents, with Machu third at 1 "19 and the other blues distant from the podium anyway, given that Nicolò Schiavetti from Lecco finished fifth at 2 "40 from the winner, just ahead of Daniele Buio, sixth, with Davide Saviane tenth.
Another triumph for the Japanese team in the women's race, with Chisaki Maeda preceding his sister Marino by 2 "51, bronze to the Slovak Nikola Fricova. Good placings for the Bergamo sisters Melesi: Federica is fifth and Chiara sixth, out of Monica Ferrighetto.
The final balance of the team led by Fausto Cerentin is therefore a silver one with Davide Saviane and a bronze with Filippo Zamboni, both obtained in the supergiant, but the season of grass skiing is far from over, with the penultimate stage of the World Cup at junior level (Zamboni is 2nd in the general classification) and above all the absolute world championships, scheduled in Marbachegg (Switzerland) from 13 to 18 August.
