Grass skiing finally raised the white flag: no World Cup and junior World Cup

The FIS meeting cancels the 2020 season, which would also have seen the news of Cortina d''Ampezzo in the maximum circuit.

There was the desire of Edoardo Frau to take back his scepter, as well as the many young people of an Italian national team that is always the absolute protagonist of the world scene. For Fausto Cerentin's national team, like all rivals, there will be no grass skiing season: the FIS commission meeting held by videoconference has definitively decided not to carry out any cup competition for 2020. Mondo (there were six stages set for a total of fourteen competitions, including the great news from Cortina d''Ampezzo) and not even the Junior World Championships, which should have been held initially in Madarao, Japan. The possibility remains for FIS tenders in September and October (there are currently two events in the Czech Republic on the calendar), however the final decision will be taken at the next meeting of the Commission to be held on Thursday 20 August.
