The blue squadron for the grass ski World Championships: 22 athletes called up, lead by Frau and Mazzoncini

After the World Cup, from 7 to 12 September in the Czech Republic the world championship with many ambitions for Fausto Cerentin's national team.

After the last races of the maximum circuit in Tambre, the attention of the world of grass skiing shifts to the seniors and juniors World Championships scheduled, on the Czech slope of Stitna Nad Vlari, from 7 to 12 September. Up for grabs four titles (giant, supergiant, slalom, combined), for which a total of twenty-two blue between the two categories will compete. Daniele Buio, Filippo Zamboni, Michael Bertagno, Davide Saviane, Gabriel Bonaldi, Roberto Cerentin, Otto Pasini, Nicolò Libardoni, Nicolò Pettini, Andrea Iori, Nicolò Schiavetti, Alex Galler, Marco Milesi, Edoardo Frau (at the last performance of his career, after 2nd place in the CdM general), Lorenzo Gritti, Davide Nieddu, Marco Combi, Monica Ferrighetto, Margherita Mazzoncini, Federica Libardi, Federica Milesi and Ambra Gasperi. The group will be led by the technical director of the national team, Fausto Cerentin, and by the coach Roberto Parisi. Italy comes from the four medals won in the 2019 edition of Marbachegg, when Frau won two golds in super combined and supergiant and bronze in giant, while Pietro Guerini won bronze in slalom.
