Grass skiing: blue podiums do not arrive in the first stage of the World Cup in Piestany

Placements close to the top 3 for the leaders of the national team in the opening in the Czech Republic: Frau fourth, double fifth place for Zamboni.

First stage of the World Cup without podiums for Italy of grass skiing, engaged on the Czech track of Piestany. Immediately behind were the blues, with Edoardo Frau fourth at 5 cents from third, Filippo Zamboni fifth and Lorenzo Gritti sixth, while Daniele Buio finished eleventh. In the following slalom played in the classic format, Angerer took revenge with a time of 57 ”79, beaten the same Bartak and Jan Borak respectively by 47 cents and 1” 12. The best Italian was Zamboni, fifth at 1 ”31, Daniele Buio finished eighth at 1” 61, both Frau and Gritti went out in the first heat. Among women, as mentioned, Vesela imposed the law of the strongest on both occasions: first she put the Slovak Nikola Frocova and her compatriot Eliska Rejchrtova behind her, then she regulated Saqrka Abrahamova and Fricova. Ambra Gasperi's behavior was constant, sixth twice, while Margherita Mazzoncini collected a seventh place and Monica Ferrighetto a tenth. The next appointment with the World Cup is set for 19-20 June in Rettenbach, Austria, with giant, super-giant and slalom.
