Grass skiing: fourteen Azzurri aim for the podium in the four slalom scheduled in Predklasteri

Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, the second stage of the World Cup in the Czech Republic. Lorenzo Gritti leads the Italian squadron.

The technical director of blue grass skiing, Fausto Cerentin, has dissolved the reservations regarding the squad for the second round of the World Cup, scheduled for the weekend in Predklasteri. There will be 14 standard-bearers of the national team who will take to the track on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July for the four slalom scheduled (two for men and as many for women). Leading the Italian team is captain Lorenzo Gritti, fresh from second place in the giant from Rettenbach who opened the cup three weeks ago. Expected also for Filippo Zamboni and Daniele Buio, on the podium in the FIS races of the last few days, but at the male level Nicholas Anziutti, Michael Bertagno, Nathan Seganti, Otto Pasini, Nicolò Pettini and Nicolò Schiavetti will also be protagonists. The women's team will be able to count on the experience of Margherita Mazzoncini - second in the Austrian supergiant at the opening of the season - and Antonella Manzoni, as well as Ambra Gasperi in excellent shape in the discipline after second place in Orlicke Zahori (FIS race). Federica Libardi and Federica Milesi were among those called up, the latter at his seasonal debut in the World Cup.
