Second stage of the World Cup for grass skiing: the Azzurri are looking for the best in Rettenbach

On Saturday and Sunday in Austria three races (giant, super-g and slalom): eleven standard bearers of the national team involved.

Second weekend of competitions for the World Cup of grass skiing, after the debut 15 days ago in the Czech Republic, between Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June on the Austrian slope of Rettenbach. The program is demanding, because it includes three races in two days: it starts on the inaugural day with the giants (the two heats at 11.00 and 13.30) and the super-giants in the late afternoon, at 17.30, while the second day will assign the victory in the slalom to the 10.00 and 12.45. The blue team is presented with eleven athletes: Daniele Buio, Filippo Zamboni, Marco Combi, Edoardo Frau, Lorenzo Gritti, Davide Saviane, Nicolò Schiavetti, Nicholas Anziutti in the men's field and Margherita Mazzoncini, Ambra Gasperi and Monica Ferrighetto among the women. The male classification currently sees the Austrian Hannes Angerer and the Czech Martin Bartak in cohabitation with 160 points, Filippo Zamboni is fifth with 90 and Daniele Buio eighth with 56; among women the Czech Alena Vesela leads with full points with 200 points.
