After yesterday's victory another great performance by Marta Bassino that sells only the second female giant Carmen Thalmann of the European Cup in Sestriere.

At the end of the first run on the track John Agnelli was in command of the French Anne-Sophie Barthet with 10 cents on Thalmann and 31 of Bassino who then passed over in the second, the Austrian back to success, the fourth, in the European Cup after almost three years and won for the first time a giant 83 cents ahead of the Piedmont, the second career podium in two days, and 88 of the Alps.
