The control of the snow made by the FIS was positive so the super-G and downhill of 20 and 21 December in Val Gardena are confirmed. Here is the statement posted on saslong.org.

The International Ski Federation has given quest'' the green light to the races of the World Cup in Val Gardena program 20 and December 21.
After his return to Europe from Beaver Creek (USA), the FIS race director Helmut Schmalzl carried out the so-called control on the snow. In consultation with the manager Horst Demetz track, the race manager Rainer Senoner and the head section Moritz Demetz, the Gardena has traveled the Saslong from start to finish, in order to assess the status of the preparations.
"The races are confirmed - said with certainty Schmalzl at the end of the visit -.'' On the track c is enough snow, the employees of the organizing committee and the company that manages the Saslong have done a good job."
Sunday from 16 employees of the organizing committee will begin to make the final work on the track under the supervision of the runway Horst Demetz.
The Super-G World Cup will take place on December 20, while the free will be staged on Saturday, December 21. Wednesday and Thursday are scheduled for the two trials. The start will be in all cases at 12.15.
