The younger brother of Mario Matt, Michael, along with Manuel Wieser is one of two Austrians who have passed the qualification for the slalom in Levi. Wieser will play the fifth race of his career in the White Circus as the young Michael (left in the photo along with the dt Mathias Berthold and Wieser), class of 1993, will make its debut season in the World Cup.
