Uncertainties about the presence of Hannes Reichelt in Sölden GS

The giant slalom opening of the men's World Cup next October 27 in Sölden could not see the start Hannes Reichelt. According to the "Kronen Zeitung" the Salzburg weeks suffers from a severe back pain due to a swelling in the spinal cord and this naturally creates a big problem especially in giant slalom.

"I honestly have no idea if I will be able to compete on the Rettenbach" said Reichelt who had to prematurely stop training in Argentina. Tomorrow will try for the first time to train in Soelden. "If the pain is bearable I could be at the start in three weeks," concluded the 33-year old native of Altenmarkt and raised in Radstadt Ski Club.
