The German specialists speed men are training very hard from the beginning of the week'' on the Austrian glacier in the Pitztal with the Finnish Andreas Romar, one of the revelations of last season.

After the heavy snowfall of the weekend the glacier presents a decidedly winter. "Now the conditions are really good, yesterday we were able to complete the first downhill training," said Thomas Aschauer, head of Germany men's speed. The team will remain on the Pitztal until Friday.
