The season of grass skiing comes alive with the Azzurri protagonists, even if the CdM general sees them move away from the summit.

The second weekend of the maximum summer circuit, staged on the Czech Predklasteri track, gave three podiums to the standard-bearers of the Italian national team.
Starting from the one obtained by Antonella Manzoni in the first of the two female giants, with a great 2nd place, detached from 1 "02 by the dominator of this first phase of the 2019 vintage, the Austrian Jacqueline Gerlach, and in front of the '' other aquilotta Daniela Krueckel. In the second race between the wide doors, the Sunday one, Gerlach recorded an encore, which preceded the two hosts Alena Vesela and Adela Kettnerova, with Manzoni this time forced to settle for 4th place, almost half a second from the podium , with Monica Ferrighetto eighth and Margherita Mazzoncini out. Now the general classification of the women's Cup sees Gerlach in the lead with 480 points obtained in five races, against the 306 of Kettnerova and the 280 of the same Antonella Manzoni.
He does not seem to be able to stop the race of the unrestrained Martin Bartak, the four-time winner of the crystal ball Edoardo Frau. The Asiago champion, in fact, obtained a double third place in the two giants who, on the home track, saw the young bishop of the Czech Republic dominate and run away in the standings with the beauty of 480 points, in front of the same Frau at an altitude of 360 and to the Swiss Portmann (twice second in Predklasteri) with 335 points.
The other blues: in the first giant good fifth place for Lorenzo Gritti, just outside the top ten instead Buio (then 10th in the second giant), Facchin and Anziutti, with Schiavetti and Martinelli finally in top 20 in the second giant.
The next meeting of the CdM of ski of grass will be the Italian one: Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July there will be two slalom in Cortina d''Ampezzo.
