Mazzoncini triumph in Tambre: super-g and specialty cup like Frau, second in the final race

The first day of the World Cup finals on grass skiing gave the Azzurri four podiums: double Venetian hurray at home, the German Angerer conquers the absolute crystal ball.

A victory and four overall podiums for the Italy of grass skiing, to open the World Cup finals on the Belluno slope of Tambre on Saturday. The male supergiant recorded the victory of Hannes Angerer, for only 6 cents over Edoardo Frau, who takes home the specialty cup, third place for the Czech Martin Bartak with Lorenzo Gritti finally eighth. The women's super-g instead rewarded Margherita Mazzoncini, dominator of a race that saw the Czech Sarka Abrahamova in second place, 73 cents from the Venetian, and the Austrian Kristin Posch, third at 1 ”30.
