The national ski of grass is a pride for the FISI and the whole movement of winter sports, even if in this you always compete on a pair of skis, but without snow.
A new summer begins and then a new edition of the World Cup, in which Italy has always played a leading role, not to mention the masters of the movement.
After a couple of episodes dedicated to the Junior Cup, the season comes alive with the first round of the maximum circuit, scheduled in the Austrian town of Rettenbach, in the Burgenland area. Between Saturday 15, with male and female giants, and Sunday 16 with the supergiants and the super combined with the slalom, there will be six races.
The new technical director Fausto Cerentin focuses strongly on the girls, with Antonella Manzoni, Margherita Mazzoncini, Federica Milesi, Monica Ferrighetto and Chiara Milesi in the race, but above all with the boys where the winner of the last four World Cups will start as a big favorite, Edoardo Frau, who also ruled 12 months ago in Rettenbach.
Along with the Asiago native athlete, there will be Mattia Arrigoni, Jacopo Facchin, Lorenzo Gritti, Pietro Guerini, Davide Saviane, Filippo Zamboni, Nicholas Anziutti, Marco Combi, Fabrizio Rottigni and Nicolò Schiavetti.
