Grass skiing: Edoardo Frau wins the giant and is 2nd in CdM, great blue finish in Tambre

The World Cup finals give another success to the national team, with the Italian veteran first and Gritti third. Gasperi and Mazzoncini in the top 6 both in the last race and in the general classification.

The Grass Ski World Cup ends in the best possible way for the Italian team, engaged in the home finals in Tambre. After super-g and slalom, here is the giant with the triumph of Edoardo Frau on Sunday, winner in front of the Swiss Mirko Hueppi and the other blue Lorenzo Gritti. Also noteworthy is the 5th place of Daniele Buio, then Andrea Iori twelfth, Filippo Zamboni fourteenth and Jacopo Facchin fifteenth. The final cup ranking sees therefore the Austrian Hannes Angerer, who had already celebrated Saturday afternoon, with 949 points, behind him Frau (800 points) and Bartak with 675. Zamboni (6th), Gritti (7th) and Dark (9th). The female giant awarded instead the Austrian Kristin Posch in front of the Slovak Nikola Fricova and the Czech Sarka Abrahamova; fourth Ambra Gasperi, followed by Margherita Mazzoncini sixth, Federica Milesi eleventh and Federica Libardi fifteenth. Race that will be decisive for the general classification of CdM, with Fricova triumphing with 921 points, just 16 more than Posch, with Abrahamova third at 626 and the two top blue not far from the final podium, with Mazzoncini and Gasperi ex aequo in fifth place with 585 points.
