Yesterday, during an interview with'' ORF was in tears today Marlies Schild on his Facebook page brings out some doubts on the continuation of his incredible skiing career.

"With a third place finish and a third in the World Cup slalom season ends for me - writes Marlies, who turns 33 on May 31 -. I am very proud to be able to reach the magic number 34 (one of the victories in Cup slalom in Vreni Schneider, ed) and also increase to 35 (Thanks Vreni)! Even the silver medal at the Olympics and the fact that all the races in which they arrived at the finish I ended up on the podium (except Bormio) make me very happy.
However, the long time in professional sports and numerous injuries leave their mark, so for the first time this year, I thought about what the future may reserve in sports. I can not wait to take a well deserved holiday, the metal will be removed from my leg and I will decide what to do in the future. The motivation to keep going is definitely still going strong! "
